Bart Starr Undergoes Second Stem Cell Treatment

An update on Packers legend Bart Starr, the 81-year-old is battling back after a series of strokes and trying to get to Green Bay in time for Thanksgiving.

USA Today reports that Starr recently returned from Mexico where he underwent a second round of stem cell treatments.

The treatment is to help heal his brain after he suffered two strokes and a heart attack last year. His first visit for the experimental treatment was in June. Starr's wife says it's too early to tell how this latest treatment worked.

Starr wants to be able to walk on the field at Lambeau on thanksgiving with Brett Favre when the number four jersey is officially retired.
