MILWAUKEE - It turns out that playing on-campus was exactly what the UWM Panthers needed to break a three game losing streak.
Four Panthers players scored 12 or more points, and UWM built up a nearly 20 point first half lead before holding on for a 68-64 win at the Klotsche Center Thursday night.
The Raiders hit several threes in the second half, at one point closing the gap to just two points. But the Panthers (14-9) hit their free throws in the final few minutes and held on for the win.
