Badger fans, on your marks: Statewide scavenger hunt marks 100-day countdown to UW football kickoff

MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Wisconsin Athletics is gearing up for the next Badger football season with a statewide "100 Days to Kickoff Scavenger Hunt." Patrick Herb, Communications Director, discussed the event with us in an appearance on Tuesday, May 23.

Scheduled for Thursday, May 25 from 6 - 8 a.m., the scavenger hunt will see 100 mini Badger football helmets hidden across nine cities, including Waukesha, Madison and Burlington. Each helmet will be accompanied by a prize, ranging from UW home game tickets to Badger gear and gift cards.

Details on specific locations will be revealed at 6 a.m. on the day of the event.

Prizes will be given away online via Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, enabling fans worldwide to participate.
