MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee attorney wants to find justice for a community activist killed by gun violence.
"I'm putting up a $25,000 reward as a result of this senseless shooting," said Attorney Michael Hupy of Hupy & Abraham, S.C. "To the first person who provides the Milwaukee Police Department with information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person involved in firing the fatal shot."
Quanita "Tay" Jackson was killed near Moody Park Sunday night. She organized a basketball tournament at the park just a day earlier. Jackson was also a member of the Children's Outing Association. Attorney Michael Hupy serves on the group's board of directors.
A GoFundMe page has also been created in Jackson's honor.
