2024 has been a fairly warm year so far. Almost every month has been above average so we have seen consistent warmth through the year. The average temperature for the year currently sits at 55.6 degrees which is tied with 2012 for the warmest year on record from January 1st to October 7th.
Now that we are in the fall season the average for the year will start to dip a little, but we are on track to be one of if not THE warmest year on record.
Tuesday morning has another chilly start with lows dropping into the 30s for a few communities with some patchy frost possible Milwaukee stayed mild with a low of 51 which is actually above average for this time of year.
We have one more morning where we may see some patchy frost on Wednesday morning with lows inland in the 30s but staying in the 40s lakeside. Then we get away from any frost concerns for the rest of the week but by next Monday things look pretty chilly once again.
