MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The average cost of living can be pricey and rather difficult to manage.
On Wednesday, City Hall held their annual Advocacy Day to help residents throughout Milwaukee.
Various city departments and local agencies provided valuable knowledge on available resources to help navigate city processes.
The event featured a number of workshops- from tips on how to start your own business to sharing tools to ensure public safety needs are met.
"The purpose of today is working with our residents, our community member people, stakeholders in Milwaukee who want to have a better understanding on how things work in City Hall," said Common Council President Jose Perez. "We have to stay connected, we have to hold our city officials accountable, and we are only doing that when we are talking to one another and building those relationships."
