Adjusted garbage and recycling schedule in Waukesha
WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Garbage and recycling collection in Waukesha has been adjusted after some service suspension due to the cold weather this week.
The recycling plant Advanced Disposal works with closed due to cold weather on Wednesday and Thursday resulting in no recycling pickup those days. The pickup schedule has been adjusted to makeup for the lost time.
If you have excess trash due to a missed pickup this week, you are allowed to place garbage bags next to the garbage bin and they will be picked up.
Service will return to a regular schedule the week of February 11.
Here is a new schedule for next week:
Monday, February 4: Monday Garbage/ Monday Route A recycling and Monday Route B recycling misses from January 28th.
Tuesday, February 5: Tuesday AND Wednesday Garbage / Tuesday Route A and B recycling AND Wednesday Route A and B recycling. ALL ITEMS NEED TO BE OUT AT 6AM on TUESDAY Please leave out your recycling bin until it is collected. It might not be collected until Thursday as Advanced attempts to get to everyone.
Wednesday, February 6: Items needed to be out Tuesday, February 5th at 6am – see above.
Thursday, February 7: Thursday Garbage/ Thursday Route A recycling – normal schedule
Friday, February 8: Friday Garbage/ Friday Route A recycling- normal schedule
