Accidents Abound as Fog Moves In

Since 4:00 AM Saturday there have been 21 crashes and nine disabled vehicles in Milwaukee County. Eleven crashes were property damage only and ten crashes resulted in personal injuries.

Fog rolled in to Milwaukee at 4:00 AM and visibility has stayed at a quarter mile all day.

Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office says that they typically see an increase when roads are wet. They say speed and foggy conditions typically play a role. Sheriff’s Office encourages people to adjust for conditions and turn on headlights in fog.

A dense fog advisory is in effect across southeast Wisconsin until 6:00 AM Sunday.
