MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- It was day two for Aaron Rodgers behind the lectern as guest host of "Jeopardy!"
And before getting the game officially started, Rodgers gave a nod to Alex Trebek and his former teammate, Brett Favre.
"Following in the footsteps of a legend is something I know a little about, and I learned the best way to honor their legacy is to put in the work and deliver at the highest level, so for the next two weeks, I hope I can make Alex proud," he said.
Number 12 has been getting rave reviews so far filling in as guest host.
In his interview with the CBS 58 morning crew, he was asked what he would do if he was offered the job as permanent host.
"The show shoots about 46 days a year," Rodgers said. "Last year, based on my COVID test numbers, I was in Green Bay for at least 187 days. That's how many tests I took. So, I feel like it's possible to do both. If the opportunity was there, I would definitely be all in for that."
You can watch Rodgers' run as host weeknights at 6 p.m. on CBS 58.
