MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--This season of giving takes on an even more significant meaning as we remember those affected by the tragic events of last month's Waukesha Christmas Parade. A special fundraiser will be happening Wednesday, Dec. 22 at the soon-to-open 3rd Street Market Hall. The event will be located on the first floor where the Grand Avenue Mall used to be in downtown Milwaukee.
Up to 15 different food vendors will be featured with 100% of the proceeds being donated to the United for Waukesha Community Fund.
The cost of admission is $100. It gets you two drink tickets as well. The fundraiser runs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday. Click here to find out all the details about the event or purchase tickets online.
Another side to the food hall is the rented space (when available) to perspective entrepreneurs who are looking for assistance with start ups. There's also an industrial kitchen shared among the vendors. Joshua Wolter, Director of Operations of Dairyland, says this is a great opportunity for up and coming small businesses, an opportunity he didn't necessarily have. If you interested in filling a space, click here.
