BRISTOL, Wis. (CBS 58) -- On Tuesday, January 30 in the evening around 6 p.m. Kenosha County Sheriff's Department responded to a two-car crash near the intersection of Highway D and Highway 50.
A 2005 Honda Accord operated by a 75-year-old Bristol woman identified as Charlotte Schroeder was driving south on Highway D and didn't stop for a stop sign at the intersection with Highway 50.
The Honda entered the intersection and was hit by an Acura driving west on Highway 50 by a 49-year-old Salem Lakes man.
The 75-year-old woman was hit in the driver's side and taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. The 49-year-old man was also taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
The intersection was closed for two hours.
