MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim of a hit-and-run crash near 48th and Burleigh as Henry Goodlow.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police say a 73-year-old victim is dead after being hit by a car near 48th and Burleigh on Friday, Mar. 6. 

Officials say the pedestrian was crossing the street at approximately 11:17 p.m., when they were hit by a vehicle traveling westbound on W. Burleigh.

The victim died at the scene. Police arrested the driver of the vehicle, a 44-year-old man, who remained on scene. 

The investigation remains ongoing. 

Charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
