7-Year-Old Boy on Bike Taken by Flight for Life after Being Hit by Car

Racine Police Department tells CBS 58 that at 5:53 PM on Sunday they were called to a crash involving a car versus bicyclist in the 200 block of Ohio Street.

Police say a 7-year-old boy was struck on his bicycle and at this point it appears that the boy "darted out into the street." The driver was a 41-year-old man who could not stop in time. The driver was not impaired and stayed at the scene.

The boy was flown by Flight for Life to Children's Hospital. The boy's condition is unknown.
