62-Year-Old Kenosha Man Arrested for Hiding a Corpse

On January 16, 2016, the Kenosha Police Department responded to an alley in the 1300 block 31 Street for a person lying in the alley. Police determined that the person was dead and the Kenosha Police Department started a death investigation.

The deceased person was identified as Rhea Gattone, a 34-year-old Kenosha woman. An autopsy was conducted and it was subsequently determined the cause of death to be a drug overdose.

Detectives of the Kenosha Police Department continued to investigate and learned that Gattone had consumed heroin and subsequently died at a house in the City of Kenosha. After dying, Gattone’s body was moved and left in the alley.

Thomas Rutchik, a 62-year-old Kenosha man, was recently arrested for hiding a corpse and obstructing police for involvement in the death of Gattone.
