60-year-old arrested for OWI after chase that started at Brookfield restaurant

DELAFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Saturday evening around 8:09 p.m. the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department was looking for a driver that was possibly drunk after leaving a restaurant in Brookfield. A Sheriff's Deputy spotted the car the car on Golf Road near Prospect Avenue in the Pewaukee and attempted a traffic stop. The car did not stop and the Deputy pursued it.

The chase continued west on Golf Road and then north on Maple Avenue in Delafield. The chase ended when driver lost control and went off the road, crashing into a ditch.

The 60-year-old driver and only person in the car was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
