RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Police have identified the many killed in a shooting early Thursday morning in Racine.
According to investigators, 36-year-old Sylvester D. Johnson was found in the area of Hickory Grove Avenue and DeKoven Avenue with gunshot wounds. Johnson died at the scene.
Racine Police investigators are interested in any additional information that anyone may have about this crime. Any witnesses, or citizens with information, are urged to call the Racine Police Department Investigations Unit at (262) 635-7756.

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Early Thursday morning, January 10 Racine Police responded to the intersection of Hickory Grove Avenue and DeKoven Avenue for a report of shots fired.
Police arrived just after 4:30 a.m. and found a victim in the alley with gunshot wounds.
Lifesaving efforts were attempted but the 36-year-old man died at the scene.
Police are still investigating and are searching for a suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call 262-635-7756.
