SHEBOYGAN Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Sheboygan Police Department is currently investigating a fatal motorcycle accident.

The accident happened on October 8 at 11:40 a.m. in the area of Union and George Ave.

According to police, a motorcycle was traveling west on Georgia Ave when it struck the curb, causing the occupants to be ejected from the vehicle.

A 28-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman, both from Sheboygan, were taken to a local hospital.

The 28-year-old man died from his injuries at the hospital. He has been identified as Jared D Martin. 

The 26-year-old woman sustained serious injuries but is in stable condition.
