WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Sixteen days after a suspect drove through the Waukesha Holiday Parade, young victims that were injured continue their recovery.

An update from Children's Wisconsin on Tuesday, Dec. 7, said three children are continuing their care and rehab at the hospital. All three are in fair condition.

Two other children were discharged last week, on Dec. 2, and are continuing their recovery at home.

Children's says later this week, staff will be offered blue light bracelets as a symbol of healing and hope, aligning with the city of Waukesha's "unite with a blue light" effort.

The effort asks everyone to light a blue light outside their home and to keep it on through the holidays.

Children's Wisconsin is also lit blue this month.
