16 peregrine falcon chicks born at We Energies power plants

WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- The peregrine falcon nesting season has come to an end at the We Energies power plants. 

Sixteen chicks were born this year. 

The only site where the birds are still nesting is the Presque Isle power plant in Marquette, Michigan. 

The chicks will most likely leave in a couple of weeks. 

We Energies says more than 260 peregrine falcons were born at their power plants, nearly 20% of Wisconsin's peregrine falcon population.
