14-Year-Old Sheboygan Boy Arrested for Multiple Burglaries

A 14-year-old Sheboygan boy was arrested on two counts of burglary, one count of burglary while armed and two counts of theft of movable property related to several garage burglaries over the weekend, according to a release from the Sheboygan Police Department.

Earlier this week, three burglaries to garages were reported to the Sheboygan Police Department in the Ellis Historic and Near North neighborhoods. In one of these cases, the suspect was confronted in the garage by a witness and fled the scene. He was armed with a steak knife.

A description of the young suspect was disseminated and a school resource officer recognized a possible match which was communicated to the investigating officer. Acting on the information, the officer was able to locate evidence of the crimes at the suspect’s house and the teen was later arrested and confessed to the crimes.
