MCMEO: 55-year-old Milwaukee woman dies from COVID-19 complications

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Medical Examiner's Office says a 55-year-old Milwaukee woman died of coronavirus complications Thursday, shortly after arriving at a local hospital.

The death marks the 16th in Wisconsin and 9th in Milwaukee County.

WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- The coronavirus death toll continues to rise in Wisconsin. Fourteen people have died from the virus, with the latest reported in Ozaukee and Iron Counties. 

A COVID-19 outbreak at the Village Pointe Commons in Grafton, claimed the lives of three residents. 

Gov. Tony Evers and Wisconsin Department of Health Officials shared an update with the public on the state's response Friday afternoon.

WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- Twelve people are reported to have died due to the coronavirus in Wisconsin as of the morning of Friday, March 27.

The latest death was recorded in Iron County. It was the county's first case of COVID-19.

On Thursday, March 26, four people died from complications from coronavirus.
