Zoo Interchange Project causing closures

As part of the Zoo Interchange project, the I-894/US 45 North to I-94 East system ramp will fully close at 11pm Friday, July 10, and will re-open by 6am Sunday, July 12. 

A full closure of I-94 East, from Moorland Road to the core of the Zoo Interchange, will take place from 11pm Friday, July 10 until 6am Saturday, July 11. A single lane closure of I-94 East, between the core of the Zoo Interchange and 92nd Street will take place from 6am to 8am Saturday, July 11 and from 11pm Saturday, July 11 until 6am Sunday, July 12.

To get around the closure, motorists should utilize:

• I-894/US 45 North exit ramp to Greenfield Avenue to 84th Street to I-94

East

• I-894 bypass or I-43 to other regional east routes
