RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 44-year-old man shot to death in Racine. The man was driving when he was killed Tuesday, Aug. 24.

"The scene was so intense," Lloyd Castleman said. He lives in the area.

Wednesday morning, Aug. 25, neighbors were sweeping up broken glass in the street from incident.

Tuesday afternoon police got a call about shots fired in the area of LaSalle and English streets.

After the man got shot, he struck a power pole. The car stopped a few feet away from the corner of Green and English streets.

"You just see the guy in there laid out," Elis Crawford said. Crawford says he tried to help the man.

"He took like a deep breath and then two minutes later took another one and that was it," Crawford said. "I had my hand on his back and my hand under him and I moved my hand away and I had blood all over my hand."

Crawford described the man's gunshot wound to CBS 58.

"When they pulled him out from the van, he had a wound like right here and right here."

Family identified the man as Musa. They say he leaves behind five children.

"He's very nice guy, very quiet," Marwan Badwan said. He is Musa's cousin.

There have been reports that Musa was an Amazon delivery driver. Police say he was not. They also say he was the intended target.
