Those with the university say putting this property up for sale has been a tough decision.  But financially, it just made sense.

The Alumni House is at 3230 East Kenwood Avenue on Milwaukee's East Side.  The mansion along with its lot has been appraised close to two million dollars.  UW-Milwaukee is seeking either a buyer or tenant.  Again, proposals will be accepted through August 5th.  The Board of Regents will have the final say as to who gets the property.
