You can have all the right moves & beats at a Hip Hop Chess event this Friday on Milwaukee's south side

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--Music and might come together this Friday evening at a free event coupling hip hop with the game of chess. The nonprofit group "Your Move MKE" is playing host to the unique event.

Your Move MKE looks to break cycles of poverty, pain, and trauma by replacing them with positive cycles of prosperity, strength, and healing.

Organizers believe at least some of their objectives can be met with happenings like this one.

The hip hop chess event will take place Friday evening between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Milwaukee's south side at 2926 W. Forest Home Avenue. Kids ages nine and up are welcome!
