Women Sentenced to 2 years probation and $1,329 fine for 171 Counts of Animal Mistreatment

A sentence was delivered, on October 20, to the woman who had 80 dogs, cats and two pigs rescued from her property in June 2014 in Racine.

Debra Gray was sentenced to two years probation and a fine of $1,329 at the Racine County Courthouse.

Many of the animals were suffering from ear and eye infections, glaucoma, topical wounds, fleas, dental disease and paw injuries.

At the time of the incident, Wisconsin Humane Society officials said the discovery unveiled some of the worst conditions they've ever seen.
