Woman Found Dead in Kenosha Alley

On Saturday, January 16, at 8:14 AM the Kenosha Police and Fire Departments were dispatched to an alley in the 1300 block of 31st Street for an individual lying in the alley. Upon arrival of paramedics, it was determined that the subject was deceased.

At this point in time, the only information police have is that the subject is a 34-year-old white female who was found lying in the alley deceased. The subject was found by a local businessperson reporting to work.

The cause of death is unknown at this time. There are no visible signs of injury for the cause of death. An autopsy will most likely take place on Monday at the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The death is being investigated as suspicious in nature due to the fact that police do not know why or how the subject got to the alley or the cause of death.

According to police it is too early to determine if the death is a homicide. Police hope to know more information once the autopsy is done.

If anyone has any information they believe may be relevant to this investigation they are asked to call Kenosha Area Crime Stoppers at 656-7333 or 1-800-807-TIPS, or the Kenosha Police Department 605-5264.
