MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Preparations for the 2027 iteration fo Summerfest are already underway. Zac Brown Band has been announced as a Summerfest headliner, with the band's performance scheduled for Friday, June 25, 2027 at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater.

Organizers made the announcement on Tuesday, Sept. 8.

The Southern rock group has won three Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist in 2010, and has had six consecutive albums reach the top 10 of the Billboard 200, according to the announcement. In Dec. 2025 and Jan. 2026, the band performed a limited engagement at Sphere in Las Vegas, reportedly becoming the first country band to play the venue.

Summerfest 2027 runs across three weekends: June 24-26, July 1-3 and July 8-10.

Tickets go on sale Friday, Sept. 11 at 10 a.m. online or in person at the amphitheater box office. Each ticket includes admission to the festival that day.
