Woman arrested for drunken driving with 13 year-old in car

Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office arrested a woman for drunken driving with a 13 year-old child in the car at about 11:50 pm on June 3.

Before the incident, the woman had taken a minor child to the emergency room for a sore throat.

Khyana Harris, age 42, of Milwaukee, tested a .167 on a PBT. She said she had consumed two bottles of Miller Lite at her sister's house. Harris was arrested for DUI-first with passenger under the age of 16-years-old, which carries a penalty of up to 60 days in jail.

Child Protective Services was called at 1:45 am, and a CPS case agent took the 13-year-old child to a relative's home at 4:50 am.
