WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Waukesha County Sheriff's Office was called to the Waukesha County Health and Human Services Center on Tuesday afternoon.
A witness called 911 around 11:41 a.m. to report that a man was loading a handgun inside his vehicle in the visitor parking lot.
The center went into lockdown and officers found the man in the parking lot.
He was taken into custody without incident.
A grenade was found in the trunk of his car.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff EOD was called out and determined the grenade inert.
It's unclear if a gun was also found.
The Waukesha County Sheriff's Office says they don't believe the man was intending to commit an act of violence at the Health and Human Services Center.
