WAUKESHA COUNTY (CBS 58) --- A 31-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for allegedly driving drunk with three children in the vehicle under the age of 16 on Friday, March 12.

According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, Jasmaina Wiggins was pulled over on I-94 westbound east of Elm Grove Road around 7:42 p.m.

Wisconsin State Patrol Southeast Region Waukesha Post said Wiggins allegedly showed signs of impairment and was subsequently arrested.

Officials say the front seat passenger in the car was allegedly a 6-year-old, and two passengers around the age of 13.

According to a news release, Wiggins was taken to the hospital for a legal blood draw before being booked into the Waukesha County Jail.

WisDOT said the registered owner of the car came to the scene and with Wiggins permission, removed the children.
