Wisconsin's 2024 state park admission stickers and trail passes soon on sale
MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has announced the availability of 2024 state park and forest annual admission stickers and trail passes starting Friday, Nov. 24. In anticipation of the holiday season, the DNR advises people to complete their purchases by Friday, Dec. 8, ensuring delivery before the holidays.
These admission stickers and trail passes offer access to over 60 state parks, forests and recreational areas in Wisconsin. Motor vehicles require either an annual sticker or a daily admission pass for entry into these locations.
Additionally, specific state trails require a state trail pass for activities like biking and cross-country skiing for those aged 16 years and older.
Annual vehicle admission stickers are priced at $28 for Wisconsin residents and $38 for nonresidents. Additional vehicles registered to the same household can obtain stickers at reduced rates. Discounted senior citizen annual stickers are also available for Wisconsin residents aged 65 and over.
Vehicle stickers and trail passes are valid until Dec. 31, 2024.
