Wisconsin State Fair announces Bank Mutual Amphitheater headliners

Wisconsin State Fair officials are continuing their partnership with Bank Mutual for the Bank Mutual Amphitheater which is the largest free entertainment venue at Wisconsin State Fair. Bank Mutual branches will sell discounted State Fair Admission Tickets and Bargain Books at all its branches across the state beginning May 1.

The Bank Mutual Amphitheater lineup will kick off on a high note on Thursday, August 3 with Milwaukee-based electropop group GGOOLLDD. The first weekend of the fair will feature fair favorites Here Come The Mummies on both Friday, August 4 and Saturday, August 5. The Kids From Wisconsin will continue the tradition of performing each afternoon during the fair in addition to headlining on Sunday, August 6.

A Cappellooza will return to the fair on Monday, August 7, featuring Tonic Sol-fa, Six Appeal and Blend. Tuesday August 8 and Wednesday, August 9 will feature state fair favorite Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone. Critically acclaimed instrumental trio Simply Three will perform Thursday, August 10.

Hair at the Fair featuring Great White and Vixen will rock the amphitheater on Friday, August 11. Fresh off a stint on Dancing with the Stars, country music star Jana Kramer will take the stage on Saturday, August 12. The lineup will wrap up on Sunday, August 13 with a fair tradition – the Mr. & Ms. State Fair Physique Championships.

The stage will also feature a full lineup of family-friendly entertainment daily, including Duelly Noted dueling pianos, the annual State Fair Pom Pon Competition, Divas through the Decades and more.

Fairgoers can visit any Bank Mutual office May 1 - June 30 to purchase admission tickets for only $6 - offering 50 percent off the adult gate admission price during State Fair. Bank Mutual offices will also sell State Fair Bargain Books for $4, which offers 20 percent off the price during State Fair.

The 2017 Wisconsin State Fair, presented by U.S. Cellular, will take place Thursday, August 3 – Sunday, August 13.
