Wisconsin man trapped in corn picker for nearly an hour

MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) – Around 10:10 a.m. Saturday morning a 70-year-old man from Oregon in Dane County got trapped in a corn picker near 1871 Sand Hill Road in the town of Dunn. 

The man was able to use his cell phone to call a family member, who then called the Dane County 911 Center.

The man was trapped for nearly 60 minutes before he was able to be freed. He was flown by Med Flight to UW Hospital with serious injuries. 

OSHA officials were notified of the accident.
