Wisconsin DOC reports 21 registered sex offenders taken into custody on Halloween

WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin Department of Corrections reports 21 registered sex offenders were taken into custody on Halloween.
Every year, the department does random home visits on Oct. 31 to ensure the safety of trick-or-treaters.
The DOC reports the most common violations are for curfew and possessing or displaying Halloween candy or decorations.
