Wisconsin couple traveling to Polish-Ukrainian border to help refugees

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A couple from the tiny community of Colgate, in Washington County, Wisconsin, is set to leave for Europe Monday, March 14. 

Carol Mastronardo-Kelley and her husband will take off for Rome and drive to the Polish-Ukrainian border to transport refugees back to Italy. 

Charities in Italy will then help to relocate the refugees and find them temporary housing. 

Mastronardo-Kelley currently has a GoFundMe open to raise money to buy the refugees supplies. It has raised more than $30,000 so far.
