Wisconsin Conservatory of Music looking for unwanted, gently-used instruments

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin Conservatory of Music (WCM) is hosting an instrument drive Saturday, Oct. 2. They're asking for unwanted, gently used instruments for school programs and individuals who cannot afford to rent or buy their own. 

WCM says donated instruments will be cleaned, repaired, and redistributed. The repair costs usually run $180 per instrument before they can be awarded to a student.

There are four locations people can drop off instruments on Saturday, Oct. 2, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
