MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- More progress is being made on Milwaukee's new electric-powered streetcar.
It draws electricity from an overhead contact system with a wire, supporting poles and substations along the route.
Those overhead wires are now in place.
Utility work continues this week along Milwaukee Street at Kilbourn Avenue, followed by more track construction.
