Most of the Milwaukee metro area has been spared of the freezing rain this afternoon with temperatures hovering just above 32. The system will wrap up this evening and pull the freezing rain and snow away from our area.

By this evening temperatures will quickly drop between 7 pm and Midnight. A flash freeze will occur which will create icing issues overnight into tomorrow morning.

The winds will be up between 15 and 30 mph overnight. This will drop wind chills between -15 to -30! Expect a very cold start for Friday morning. Wind chills during the day will remain between -5 to -15!
