Winter is in a rush to come back to us

Milwaukee (CBS 58)--So long, farewell.  Winter is coming back to us in a hurry this Friday.  A strong cold front will move through later during the morning hours.  We'll go from an early morning high of 52 to 22 by late tonight.  That's a 30 degree drop!  Also, watch rain showers switch to snow showers into the afternoon,  A slight accumulation of a half an inch is possible.  

Behind the system, the weather should quiet down for the weekend.  Expect highs in the 20s and 30s.  Another weather maker will impact the forecast for the end of one year and start of another.  Look for wintry mix throughout the day on Monday into Monday night and then scattered snow showers for the first day of 2019.  Look for highs then only near 20-24.  Winter's back!
