NEWPORT, R.I. (CBS 58) – The men and women who sign up to serve in the United States Navy undergo thirteen weeks of boot camp.
Those hoping to become officers undergo grueling training which tests them physically, mentally and morally.
One of the candidates is Wind Lake native and Muskego High School alum, Andrew Baumann.
Baumann joined CBS 58 from training in Newport, Rhode Island to talk about the process, why he chose the Navy and his hopes for the future.
