All schools within the Whitewater School District are cancelled, Thursday, May 18, due to a power outage.
Severe storms rolled through southeast Wisconsin Wednesday evening toppling trees and power lines and causing power outages.
The school district will send out an email and use the website later Thursday to inform students and families if after school activities will still go on.
As of 9:00 AM Thursday morning, over 2,500 We Energies customers are without power in southeast Wisconsin. The highest concentration is in Jefferson, Walworth and Waukesha Counties but all counties in southeast Wisconsin have reported at least some outages.
