Whitefish Bay Police investigating after 2 vehicles stolen, 8 vehicles rummaged through

WHITEFISH BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Whitefish Bay Police Department is currently investigating a string of thefts throughout the village.

Police took a report of a vehicle being stolen in the 600 block of Carlisle on July 6. On July 8, police took another report of a vehicle being stolen from a home in the 5600 block of N. Shore Drive. In moth cases, police say the vehicles were left unlocked with the keys inside.

Police are also investigating several entry to auto reports which happened in the following locations:

  • At approximately 9:10 PM on July 13th, an unlocked vehicle parked in the 5000 block N Cumberland Blvd was entered.
  • Sometime between 7:00 PM on July 11th and 8:00 AM on July 12th, an unlocked vehicle parked in the 4900 block N Wildwood Ave was entered.
  • Sometime between 9:30 PM and 10:30 PM on July 11th, an unlocked vehicle parked in the 5100 block N. Lydell Ave was entered.
  • Sometime between 10:00 PM on July 8th and 5:00 AM on July 9th, an unlocked vehicle parked in the 1000 block E. Hampton Rd was entered.
  • Sometime between midnight and 7:00 AM on July 8th, three unlocked vehicles parked in the 800 block E Glen Ave were entered.
  • Sometime during the early morning hours of July 8th, two unlocked vehicles were entered while parked in the 5700 block N. Bay Ridge Ave.
  • Sometime between 10:00 PM on July 1st and 9:00 AM on July 2nd, an unlocked vehicle parked in the 1500 block E Cumberland Ave was entered and items taken.
  • Sometime overnight between June 30th and July 1st, an unlocked vehicle parked in the 4800 block N Sheffield Ave was entered.
