Wet, Not A White, Christmas

A lot of dreams won't be satisfied on Sunday.  It doesn't look like a white Christmas.  Just a wet one.  A storm system is moving through the region on Christmas, and we're definitely on the warm side of things.  The rain chances will increase by mid-afternoon and not let up until the pre-dawn hours of Monday.  Rainfall amounts could reach a half-inch.

Right ahead of the front is the time we could see the warmest temperatures.  This would be Monday morning when some of us could approach 50!  Then the temps start falling during the day.

It becomes more seasonable by Tuesday.  Looks like we could see some light snow by Saturday, New Year's Eve. Make sure to download the free CBS58 weather app to keep on top of all the weather changes coming this week.
