Wet Labor Day

Temperatures both Saturday and Sunday reached the upper 80s and lower 90s with heat indices as high as 97° on Sunday. Labor Day is truly turning in to the unofficial end of summer and start of fall.

Rain is forming to our west and expected to arrive early Monday morning.

Scattered showers and storms will be possible in the afternoon and evening but some will stay dry. If you are dying to do some more grilling and get in that BBQ the best time will be from Noon until 5 PM. In the evening and especially late Monday into Tuesday another round of rain is on the way.

Tuesday will be a soaker with the possibility for over 2\" of rain not out of the question.

As far as temperatures are concerned, not much of a change for Monday with thick clouds prohibiting a lot of heating and cooling. High temperatures are expected to reach the middle 80s.

But a big temp swing is on the way, by next weekend high temperatures won't pass the middle 60s. For reference, that means that the low temperature you wake up to Labor Day will be warmer than Saturday's high temperature!
