West Bend Fire Department responds to 2-alarm house fire

West Bend firefighters were called to the scene of a house fire around 2 a.m. this morning on Woodland Summit, on the west side of Silver Lake.  Official’s says due to the rural location of the home, crews found it difficult to fight the 2-alarm fire.  Additional trucks were needed to transport water to the scene to fight the fire.  There is no estimate of the amount of damage to the structure.   The owner of the house was not at home at the time of the fire.
