West Allis traffic issues

WEST ALLIS -- Johnston Controls will soon bring hundreds of jobs, and also lots of traffic.
The village says they're studying the timing of the lights to keep traffic moving faster. But they say they're lobbying with the Department of Transportation to keep Hawley Road open.
The village mayor says under several plans the Department of Transportation has considered either closing Hawley Road or putting in a frontage road. The mayor says that's what their only major concern but are happy about recruiting new jobs to the area.
