West Allis police investigating after man in SUV offers child ride

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- West Allis police are investigating a "suspicious" incident involving a child on Tuesday, Feb. 2.

Police say while walking home around 3:10 p.m., the juvenile was approached by a man in a vehicle at the intersection of S. 96th St. and W. Arthur Avenue. The man asked the juvenile if they lived in the area and if they wanted a ride. The juvenile said no, and the man left the area.

The man was accompanied by a Black female in the front seat and a child in the back seat.

Officials say the man is described as a Black male, approximately 30-40 years old, mostly bald with very short hair. 

He was driving an older black sport utility vehicle, similar to a Jeep Cherokee or Grand Cherokee.
