West Allis announces winners of 'Name the Snow Plow' contest

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The votes are in! After a week of voting in West Allis, people have chosen new names for three of the city's snowplows. 

With more than 300 submissions and 3,400 votes, the plows will now be called: "Ctrl-Salt-Delete," "Chicken Plow Mein," and "Plowie McPlowface."

This was the city's first-ever Name the Snow Plow contest. 

Officials say they'll have pictures of the plows later this season.

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- "Blizzard of Oz," "Clearopathra," "Fast and Flurryous," "Plowmageddeon" -- these are just a few of the names up for consideration for West Allis' "Name the Snowplow" contest. 

According to a news release from the City of West Allis, before the holidays, residents submitted more than 300 creative name ideas for three of the city's snowplows. 

The city narrowed down the entries to 30, and now it's time to vote. 

Now through Jan. 19, you can vote HERE for your favorite name. 

The three most voted names will be displayed on snowplows this winter season.
