West Allis boy beaten so badly he needed brain surgery

WEST ALLIS - Sarah Keaton breaks down every time she goes back to May 8th.

That's the day her son Tayveon was walking home after school near Highway 100 and Oklahoma Avenue.

14 year old Tayveon says he saw an older teen picking on some younger kids.

When he spoke up the older teen beat Tayveon. He's convinced all for sport.

The boy has undergone one brain surgery and might need another.

His sister posted a photo of the suspect on facebook and West Allis police confirm they have an adult in custody in connection with the case.

The family has set up a fundraiser at Prime Financial Credit Union in Tayveon Keaton's name to help pay for medical bills.

CBS 58's Josh Landon brings us the exclusive.
